About Chris
Hand stitching and working with fabrics and threads is a bit of an addiction. Since City and Guilds embroidery, I have been a member of Preston Threads an exhibiting group based in Lancashire recently I have moved to Burwell, Cambridgeshire.
Inspirations for my work come from my love of the natural world, maps, plans, my garden and exhibition titles. Recently I have become more interested in stitches themselves trying to use functional stitches in decorative ways.
