Deborah Cutting

About Deborah

I was a florist and floristry tutor for many years, ending my career as President of the Society of Floristry and Head of Department at the largest floristry department in the country. I have always dabbled in sewing and crochet. My mother was a brilliant dressmaker and made amazing fancy dress costumes for my sons over the years. I lost her in 2014 and realised life is short, so decided to follow my long-time ambition to improve my sewing and tackle some artistic textile work. I now include in my repertoire wet felted bowls, bags, scarves and wall hangings and have begun making 3-D doll and bird sculptures.
