Deborah Richardson

About Deborah

I’m relatively new to crafting, having been a florist and floristry tutor for many years, ending my career as President of the Society of Floristry and Head of Department at the largest floristry department in the country.

I have always dabbled in sewing and crochet. My mother was a brilliant dressmaker and made amazing fancy dress costumes for my sons over the years. I lost her in 2014 and realised life is short, so decided to follow my long-time ambition to improve my sewing and tackle some artistic textile work. I am an ‘improver’ and looking forward to learning more and more as time goes on.

Should anyone like to learn or improve their crochet, I am confident in that area and will happily help! I am, of course, a fully qualified florist and floristry teacher and will be pleased to help in that area too.
