Jane Piper

I am an enthusiastic embroidery artist, who is constantly inspired by all manner of random ideas invading my brain!

I am a keen historian and am often inspired by history and historical figures.  I find inspiration in the more bizarre and unusual aspects of history and fictional and fantastical stories.

I enjoy experimenting with new styles and techniques and like to product work around a particular theme. 

I am also an established speaker and enjoy combining art and speaking by talking about the inspiration and stories behind a particular body of work.

I mainly concentrate on hand embroidery, but my aim is to continue learning and experimenting to develop my experiences in embroidery and textile art.

I am based in Rayleigh, Essex
