About Linda
I could knit aged four, so learning to spin, dye and weave on a New Zealand Sheep farm was a natural progression. I developed a range of products to sell in the tourist town of Rotorua, using a four-shaft table loom.
On returning to the UK, I established an antiques business with my husband and delved into the fascinating world of antique domestic textiles. From simple embroidery to professionally worked bed linen, these pieces continue to inspire me to this day. They are a repository of female creativity expressed within the confines of functional necessity.
I am now starting to explore how to use my female creativity to express a growing awareness that the spiritual underpins the material.
