About Magenta

I am a textile, tapestry and installation artist working in Cambridgeshire UK.  I specialise in traditional Korean hand-stitched techniques of bojagi and jogakbo.

My art is informed by the natural world and found things, especially wood, often wrapped or augmented with intricate patchwork or incorporated into tapestry.

I see my work as a reflection of my passion for nature and humanity. The final resolution is invariably a synthesis of cultural and natural organic elements. My practice  always encompasses an autobiographical element, which I see as an exploration of self-perceived identity. “Magenta”
